Experience Music Together® and find out how important--and how fun--your role can be! Our Music Together classes build on your child's natural enthusiasm for music and movement. We'll help you provide your child with the basic musical skills needed to enjoy school and social musical activities, and to study an instrument should he or she choose to do so. OUR CLASSES are;
1)Mixed-aged classes ; have an age range from birth to 4-years old, which is the model of Music Together. They provide a family-like environment that enables siblings to attend together and gives every child the freedom to participate without age specific expectations. Children at this age learn by interacting with different age groups through play. The older children gain confidence by showing their movement to younger ones, while younger ones get encouraged by looking at older ones doing all the activities.
2)3's&4's class(for children born before March 2009); is more active physically as well as verbally. Children are encouraged to engage in more independent participation with their adults' help. We'll be introducing solfege (Do, Re, Mi,..etc) in our tonal patterns and we'll be playing rhythm patterns with more specific/detailed body movements. If you feel your child is missing more structured music program in school, this class will offer stronger musical experience. Children learn and express rhythm / melody / tonality and make up their own patterns of rhythm and melody by doing dramatic and imaginative play, large movements and solfege singing. Younger siblings are welcome.
3)Wednesday Babies;They may be pre-verbal, pre-mobile, but they are not pre-musical. This introduction class is for children up to 10 months old, emphasizes musical activities such as finger play, lap songs, and songs without words, while adults will learn how the infants learn, meet other new parents through fun music making. Infants are also welcome in our mixed-age classes.
